Catie turns 3!

Tuesday, August 19, 2008
after Nadine's wedding, we stopped at my parents house on the drive home. My Mom had a BBQ to celebrate my birthday with family & friends. My birthday is actually next weekend, but it worked out that we were already in Western MA on Saturday.

I share my Birthday with the lil' peanut Catie. This year she turns 3. She is having her own birthday party but we won't be able to make it so we gave her our gift on Sunday. Here she is all dressed up in her new Tinkerbell Outfit, with matching wand & accessories! She is very into Tinkerbell and being "girly". We had a great time. Lots of great pics of Matthew & Catie. They are such cute kids!!

another Mr. & Mrs...

congrats to Nadine & Sean! They were married this past weekend in Pittsfield, MA. We attended the wedding and had a REALLY good time (too much fun I think?) The photos speak for themselves. It was a looong night, ha!

I think that does it for us for weddings until next year! Pete and I will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary soon (can't believe it) - we are headed for a short cruise to the Bahamas to celebrate. Just him & I. Can't wait :)

quick update from sunny CA...

Thursday, August 14, 2008
well I'm about to head to the airport to fly back to Boston, but I wanted to post a quick update and some photos!

I was in CA this week for business - however I was able to really get out and view the city 2 of the nights I was here. Tuesday night I met up with Dave & Olga and saw their place in the city. They took me around and we had a bite to eat at a really fun restaurant. It was great to see them.

Wednesday I met up with my friend Eli - whom I was total "BFF's" with in middle school. We grew up in the same town and hadn't seen each other in at least 5 years! I was able to get in touch with her and she took me around the city, and we grabbed dinner/drinks. I was also able to get in a tiny bit of sightseeing and take some cool pictures, so check 'em out when you can.

This weekend we are headed to good 'ol Western MA for a wedding and bday BBQ for a person who shall remain nameless...

summertime update...stuff, & some photos.

I've been a bit MIA on this here blog. Most of my entries and postings are now taking place on my other blog...focused more on my crafts & stuff. I've been working pretty hard on getting that together, and I've even participated in a craft fair (hoping to do another soon!)

We've been having a really great summer - nice & relaxing. Spending plenty of time down on the Cape and outside enjoying all this nice weather. I've taken some photos here & there, so be sure to check them out. This photo above was taken in Portsmouth, NH last weekend. We hung out there for the day and had a great time. I'm going through a phase where I'm obsessed with scenery (trying to be a better photographer) - so these photos might be a tad boring!

We have more trips & visits to the beach planned in upcoming weeks so I'm sure I will have more pics soon. Hope everyone is doing well, thanks for checking out the site!

the NEW Mr. & Mrs. Doyle

Monday, June 23, 2008

this weekend my brother Ryan had his wedding. Marsha is now the new MRS. DOYLE!! I can't believe it. We are now both married. No wonder Mom cried so much.

I've spent the better half of the morning trying to get these photos uploaded - there are quite a lot. I've loaded them into the Rehearsal, then the actual day of the Wedding, then the BBQ we had on Saturday at Mom & Dad's house. That was a great time. Lots of family & friends. This weekend was also Mom's Birthday. Happy Birthday Mom!

Enjoy the photos everyone - it was a great time. Congrats Ryan & Marsha! Enjoy your honeymoon!!

summer is here.

Tuesday, June 10, 2008
things have been pretty steamy here in MA these past few days. This weekend we headed out to my parents house to enjoy their pool, as it was 90+ degrees on both days. It was very relaxing to float in the pool, and great to see everyone. On Saturday we attended Matthew's t-ball game (sweated my butt off!!) - and on Sunday Heather came by with the kids. I think this picture above of Matthew shows what summer is all about. Pool, sunshine, spiderman swimmies...and pink goggles.

Click here to see the rest of the cuties.
This weekend I'm participating in my first craft fair (yikes!) and next weekend my brother & Marsha are TYING the knot!

yummmmy cake

Monday, June 02, 2008
this weekend was the annual Buckley Birthday Bash for all the kiddos. There are 10 nieces & nephews total in the family, so Andrew & Teresa host a party once a year to celebrate all the birthdays. Makes things a lot easier! My sister in law Kathy made this amazing cake. Seriously isn't this thing great? The cones were filled with cake too. She is very talented and I just had to get several pictures of it. There are a few more pics from the party, mostly of the kids enjoying Andrew & Teresa's brand new pool!

OH, and how could I forget this photo? this is the aftermath of my other sister-in-law, Jennifer...she creamed the screen door. HAHA. sorry Jennifer, this just cracked me up. she weighs all of 100 lbs. - I have no idea how she was able to destroy the door! LOL

Memorial Day Weekend

Tuesday, May 27, 2008
we had an OUTstanding Memorial Day Weekend. The weather totally rocked! It bums me out to sit here from my office writing this as the weather still looks pretty decent outside...I'm wishing I was back up on the Cape right now!

We headed down to the Cape on Friday afternoon, had drinks in Plymouth with some friends, then headed down to Falmouth and met more friends for dinner. Nick & Jen drove down and met up with us late night, as they were heading to the Vineyard with us on Saturday morning.

We spent all day Saturday on the Vineyard, rode bikes around, shopped, ate, and had a few drinks while watching the boats in Oak Bluffs. Saturday evening we had dinner and then Sunday Pete and I were all over the place. We hit up the clam shack and even better the Chart Room for some late afternoon beverages. The sunset there was perfect. I snapped this shot as the sun was going down. I love taking photos of sunsets...

Yesterday we were back home for a day of yard work, fun! Pete and I bought a new patio set for our porch, so we put that together and had dinner and some drinks on it last night. Very relaxing.

Overall it was a great weekend...the summer is finally here! More pics of our weekend can be found in the gallery.
