OK so last week I scored some pretty sweet FREE tickets to the Sox game, from one of the General Partners at my client. Granted, the Sox are blowing right now, and they have no shot of playoffs...BUT let me tell you...these seats....were amazing. The game was last night, and I took my Dad, Ryan, Marsha, Pete, and his Dad. It was funny when we were walking to the seats, because I honestly couldn't believe that we were actually going to be sitting THAT close. Turns out they were dugout seats, rows 1 & 2...ON the field. Literally sitting next to the media box, with all the camera people. The whole night was awesome- Ryan caught a foul ball, my Dad got on TV, and overall everyone just had a great time. I took lots of great pics. The funny part was towards the end of the night, all the people & kids who were trying to come over to our seats because they were THAT good. Did I mention how close they were? Ok I will shutup now. Just had to brag about the awesome tickets that I will probably never get again in my life. Oh yea, and...the Sox lost 11-0. yee-haw.

This weekend Pete & I headed out to EL to hit up the Big E with Nick & Jen. We do it every year, it's always a good time. Lots of food and walking around...oh and shopping of course...that's the best part!! This morning we went over to some farm in town with my Mom & Dad and picked up some pumpkins, gourds, and other fall "stuff". Here is a good shot of the pumpkins. Perhaps I should consider a career in photography instead of IT? Less stress I'm sure??


Classes are back in full swing at Bentley. I'm taking 2 again this semester, in addition to my full time job, so I'm pretty busy. Trying to get some wedding planning in...it's officially less than a year away! This time next year I will be a Mrs. I will also be sitting on some beach in Hawaii, with a nice stiff drink in my hand :)

I know this is pretty random, but I love this guy. Has anyone seen the movie Ice Age?? It rules. And this guy here, his name is "the Scrat". I love him so much - he just makes me laugh. All he wants is the damn acorn, which he never seems to actually get to eat. Anyway - this is me being random and posting twice in 10 minutes. Enjoy the picture of the scrat.

We haven't even really spent any money yet, but just the introductory cost & overall number being thrown around for this wedding is making me sick. In case you weren't aware...weddings are expensive!! Right now Pete & I are in the process of choosing a photographer. We booked our DJ last week, so we are trying to get big stuff out of the way.

Labor Day weekend was fun, and involved lots of Cornhole. We had a tournament at Kyle & Karen's on Saturday. My legs are still sore. Then on Monday my parents had a BBQ in EL and we brought our newly purchased cornhole board out there for some more action. My brother is addicted!! Anyway - I took some pictures, and eventually I will upload them from my camera. By eventually I mean sometime within the next 3 months.

Classes start back up for me on Monday the 11th. 2 more classes this semester at Bentley, for the MSIT program. Hopefully the semester won't be too overwhelming. I'm still working full time & attending at night, so usually by Christmas I'm about ready to collapse.

Nothing else really new other than wedding planning. OH I almost forgot - my brother & Marsha are officially engaged! Congrats you guys. Looks like my parents will be in wedding planning mode for the next 2 years, since they are thinking about a 2008 date. Good luck Mom & Dad!!
