Well Christmas is over and I'm exhausted. Pete and I spent Christmas Eve out in East Longmeadow with the Doyle fam, and then headed back out to this part of the state on Christmas Night to celebrate with the Buckley clan. It was a good time, lots of good people, gifts and food. I've uploaded the pics for you to check out. Here is my favorite shot of the weekend, it's my Dad swinging Catherine back and forth on Xmas Eve. She was having a great time! Gotta love those cute kids.
This weekend we are headed up to Attitash to celebrate New Years with Korrie & Jen - they just got a bit of a snow storm so hopefully conditions will be good. Can't wait to get back on the mountain!

We got back from Sugarloaf yesterday evening, after being there since Friday night. I have to say, although the weather has been extremely warm, and we were afraid of the conditions, they were actually pretty decent. We met up with Sarah, Kevin, Phil and Kristina. Saturday we hit it pretty hard and most of us skied until about 3pm or so. It was mild but when you took the Spillway chair it got chilly! It was great to just get out there for the first time this season and get my legs back into shape...err....OK, I'm pretty sore today! The temps are cooling off and hopefully Christmas will bring along a snow storm or 2, then we are headed up to Attitash, NH for New Years Weekend.
I took a few pics with my Motorola Q, since my camera is too bulky to carry around. Here are a few shots from this weekend:
On the SuperQuad heading up for some runs!

It was COLD on top of Spillway Chair!

So I spent 2 hours yesterday Christmas shopping. Yep, that's it - just 2 hours...AND I was able to get like 85% of it done. The best part was that I sat on my couch in my pajamas while doing it! I LOVE online shopping for xmas. It makes life so much easier. Free shipping, no lines, no crying babies, no stupid jingle bell ringing Santa Clause people outside every store. So now I only have a few more items to get, and yes- most of them will be purchased online too. God I love technology.I haven't taken many pictures lately...there are some of Thanksgiving at the Doyle household that I will upload soon. We are off on our first snowboard trip of the year this Friday - to Sugarloaf Maine...our favorite mountain! They have been getting lots of snow latley so we should have a great experience. Sarah, Kevin, Phil and his GF are all coming too. Can't wait to hit the snow for the first time this season! We finally bought helmets this year so that means I can actually go faster and try more things :)This is my last week of classes at Bentley and then it's finals time...can't wait for the semester to be over so I can relax and celebrate the Holidays. Just think, this time next year I will be a Mrs. - and no longer have the last name Doyle! ;)
