So Pete and I had a great Memorial Day weekend. We bounced out of here early on Friday and were on the cape by 3:30pm...by 6:00pm we were sitting at the British Beer Co. in Falmouth having a drink! We hung out in Falmouth on Friday night and then took the morning ferry over to the Vineyard on Saturday, and brought some bikes along with us. We biked all over the Vineyard...hit up Edgartown, South Beach, etc. It was a hot day, but it was so nice! We got to do some shopping, eating, and a few drinks before coming back over to the Cape. I got some great scenic pics and what not, including a video of the exremely loud HORN on the ferry. (love that damn thing!!) Sunday we hung out in Hyannis for a bit and then came back on Sunday evening. Monday we did more gardening and house stuff...and last night we hit up the Red Sox game. What a great night to be at Fenway...super warm. I didn't have my camera with me last night but I did just upload some great photos from this weekend so check 'em out. Sarah's Bachelorette party is this weekend, looking forward to it!

so I've created a new banner. Figured since it's May and all - time to get rid of the snow covered mountains. I thought this banner was cute but it's sort of self-promoting. I really don't have any other pics to put up there other than Pete & I! I spared you all pictures of the cat. Anyway, hope you like it! Have a great Memorial Day weekend everyone...

Yesterday was Sarah's surprise Bridal Shower in Millis, MA. Her future mother-in-law put together an awesome shower and everyone had a great time. It was fun being there as a bridesmaid and helping Sarah & Kevin out. They got plenty of lovely things - the place looked like a Crate & Barrel outlet store! I've uploaded some pics that I got on my camera...more to come later I'm sure. This is the start of all the wedding related events of the season! 4 months until Pete & I are hitched...and even better, 4 months until we spend 14 days in paradise :)

So we've been busy these past few weekends! Pete and I have spent a lot of time re-doing the outside look of our house. We created all new flower beds around the front & sides, planted shrubs, added some nice boulders at the end of driveway, and topped it off with spreading 5 yards of mulch all over! It looks GREAT! We are very pleased with how everything looks - coming along very nice!! I've uploaded some "before" pics from early April and then some "during" and of course "after" pics for you to check out. Exciting stuff.
These next few weekends will be crazy with wedding related events and what not. Hopefully we will squeeze in a trip to the Cape on Memorial Day weekend. There's only like 1 month until my bridal shower, which is crazy! It's all feeling so real now...I'm almost a bride! :)
