took me a little while to get these up, but we went ice skating on Frong Pond this past weekend. It was my first time ever doing this and it was lots of fun! For those of you who don't know - I used to be a figure skater...but haven't been on skates in a LONG time. Pete had to get my skates out of the attic and get them sharpened. I was a little wobbly at first but eventually I was doing OK. I wasn't about to do any spins or jumps, but that's fine with me! After skating, we jumped on the T and went to the North End for dinner. It was a great night! More pics in the gallery.

Happy New Year everyone!! We had a 4-day weekend and it ruled. Our New Years was pretty quiet, we headed over to Wachusett and I learned how to ski for real this time. I got skis that actually fit and I was pizza-pie no more! French fries all the way. We took some pics to provide evidence of my skills. Skiing is OK and I enjoy it but I like boarding waayyy better. I can bomb down the mountain on my board, so I think that's why I enjoy it more at this point :)
